The Superbonus 110 is a program launched by the previous Italian Government during the pandemic crisis, aimed at renovating residential properties through the improvement of energy efficiency, seismic resistance, external coating, heating system replacement, window fixtures replacement, electric vehicle charging station, etc. 

While the new government undertake initiatives about the 110% Bonus, the Italian Revenue Agency provide us with informations on how to manage the works aimed at boosting the efficiency of your villa in Sardinia.

Hence, if you happen to be late with works, these news from the revenue agency are good news for you.

Even if it's not an easy read, the recently issued measures, (33/E issued on the 6th October 2022 and resolution 58/E issued on the 11th October 2022), have been analysed by the technical department at Sardinia Unlimited in order to combine the documents and translate them from bureaucratese to a more comprehensible style of language. The result? It seems like you have until November 2023 to complete the work.

The deadline of the Bonus for single-family houses is the 31st December 2022.

Although, all the payments must be authorised before the mentioned date, the works can be brought to completion after the deadline. Before these latest measures were introduced, after a careful read and interpretation of bureaucratese, the deadline for documentary obbligations such as sworn statement, compliance visa, prior notice (or credit transfer) was previously set to end on the 16th of March.

What changed with the new documents? It's been introduced the possibility of ''bonus relief'' which allows to display the advance notice after the deadline if:

  • All the requirements needed by the law are met; 
  • One presents the prior notice before the end of the presentation of the first available announcement;
  • Pay a fee (ca. €250 in Mod. F24);
  • To have incurred expenditures within the year 2022
  • No ongoing investigation regarding financial benefits compliant with the law.

After the abovementioned procedure is complete, one can submit the notice up until the 30th of November 2023. What does it lead to? Construction works should be completed halfway through November so that the remaining fifteen days are spent filing paperwork.

What if you never submitted a request to start the construction works? Not much you can do right now... Wait up! Rumors are talking about a renewal of the Bonus 110% for single-family houses starting on the 30th of June 2023, brought by the new government administration in Italy.
