Luxuriant evergreen Mediterranean scrub, fragrant maritime pines and enchanting junipers, frame the small beaches of very fine white sand, and the graceful coves surrounded by granite rocks. The sandy beaches are lapped by a crystalline sea with shades between cobalt and emerald green, while the shallow waters guarantee pleasant days at the beach even to families with small children. The hinterland behind Portobello also offers breathtaking glimpses and hilly landscapes, which are worth visiting.
