Capo Coda Cavallo is an enchanting stretch of coastline, part of the territory of San Teodoro, in the south east of Gallura.
This section displays the Capo Coda Cavallo villas and holiday homes, great departure point for exploring the natural treasures of this pearl of north-eastern Sardinia.
Capo Coda Cavallo is a granite promontory of immeasurable scenic beauty, which bathes in the sea overlooking the majestic Tavolara island, Molara island and the islet of Proratora.
Together with these islands, Capo Coda Cavallo constitutes the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo, which runs from Capo Ceraso to Punta s'Isuledda. The Protected Area is home to countless local animal and plant species.
It is one of the most beautiful coasts of Sardinia, where white sandy beaches bathed by crystalline waters, islets, brackish lagoons with peculiar fauna and wild coves covered with evergreen perfumed scrub alternate. One example among all is the Punta Est beach, ideal for days with a strong mistral and enjoying a privileged view of the islands of Tavolara and Molara.
The promontory takes its name from the peculiar shape of the Coda Cavallo beach, where the sea is predominantly calm, with the islands in front sheltering it from wind and currents.
