One area that attracted the curiosity of investors, and subsequently the whole world, is the Capo Coda Cavallo village. Cheaper Hotel? 5 reasons to rent a Holiday House in Sardinia. Sea view

Is a Holiday Villa in Sardinia the best choice?

Imagine you have selected Sardinia as the destination for your next holiday. Now you need to decide where to stay: holiday house or hotel? Many tourists prefer to book a hotel directly, whether for a stay of a couple of nights or longer. But what if we told you that renting a holiday home can actually be a cheaper and more advantageous option than a hotel? If you want to experience the taste of living in a villa with private pool without renouncing quality, in this guide we will give you some travel advice and 5 good reasons why renting a holiday villa in Sardinia is the best solution for all your needs!

  1. Money saving

The price is undoubtedly one of the main factors when planning a stay, especially if you are travelling with your family. Renting a villa can indeed be a way to save money, considering that very often the price per night is cheaper than in many hotels.
Not to mention the extra costs involved, such as meals. Choosing your daily meal by yourself, according to your preferences, can not only be cost-saving but also a fun activity to do with everybody. Alternatively, you can choose to rely on the culinary know-how of a private chef who is at your complete disposal to satisfy any request. Contact us to find out more.
Larger groups of travellers will also benefit financially, as the total cost is divided among many people.

  2. It’s more family friendly

Travelling with the family is often a real challenge. Of course there are many needs, but a Sardinia holiday villa will make it easier and more enjoyable for young and old alike. First of all, because you can enjoy more space (just imagine all that a newborn needs) and thus be more comfortable. At the same time, while your older children play in their bedrooms, you can relax in the open air in a wonderful veranda overlooking the sea.
A further advantage is the total autonomy, not only because, as we have already seen, you have absolute flexibility in choosing what to eat, but also because you do not need to respect the hotel's fixed times. You will thus keep the same rhythm and good habits of your children even on holiday!

  3. It's more relaxing

We know how much Sardinia has to offer: stunning beaches with white sand and crystal-clear water, natural parks and a rich local culture. That is the reason why it is ideal to plan a long enough stay and be able to visit the most famous places but in absolute relaxation! No schedules or timetables to keep, in a holiday villa your only concern will be to follow your own rhythm. Generally speaking, you will be able to settle in and feel much more comfortable than in a tiny hotel room!

  4. More privacy

In recent years, tourist needs have changed considerably. There is an increasing tendency to look for private and exclusive environments where guests can spend a pleasant holiday in the company of their loved ones. Of course, getting room service can be a comfort but what could be better than having a space to yourself without being disturbed by possible noisy neighbours? If you are looking for a bit of privacy and tranquillity, a villa by the sea will ensure this!

  5. Home comfort

You don't have to give up all the home comforts when you go on holiday! For this reason, the alternative to a hotel room is renting a villa, where you can find all the essential amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, an outdoor area where you can sunbathe and breathe in the Sardinian sea breeze and much more.
Provided with internet connection, as well as desks and chairs, holiday homes can, for example, also be used to work remotely while exploring the beauty of the area. No need to wait for your next holidays!

Villa for rent or sale? Raise the value with an inground pool

RAISE THE VALUE OF YOUR VILLA IN SARDINIA BY BUILDING A POOL?

The real estate market in Sardinia is constantly evolving. The demand for properties for sale or rent is steadily growing. So, this trend convinced both property owners and those who are interested to buy one, maybe with the prospect of renting it out, to increase the value.

Surely, the most significant operation to do so is building a pool, whether you decide to build it in a resort so that it’s destined to be shared by different guests or you want to rent out (or also sell) a villa with private pool in Sardinia. What permits are required to build a pool in your own villa? Let’s find out!

Building an inground private pool is definitely a great way to valorise your property, both for personal use and for renting and selling. Certainly, this is not an operation requiring minor authorisation and can’t really know exactly which permits are required to start building. The current regulations can vary based on the city or municipality. Generally, we can identify two main aspects that need to be taken into consideration.

The first one is absolutely linked to the consideration of natural and urban restrictions. One has to verify if there are any rules in the town planning that mention restrictions for the design features of the pool, (e.g. dimensions, colours, the material used) or restrictions for constructing it in the first place. In order to find out, it is recommended asking to the office of private construction in the area of your property. This is the body you should consider to obtain reliable and up-to-date information.

The second step is to present the SCIA (Certified Signaling of Start of Works) to the municipality, returned and signed by a professional ( an engineer, an architect, or a surveyor). This document, the most important permit to build inground pools, will be comprehending all the information about the system that will be realised in your property. After that, the municipality will have to notify you within 30 days to make objections to the documents presented.

In case the area is subjected to restrictions of many kinds, the SCIA won’t be enough and it is necessary to request a specific permit to build. Moreover, it will be obligatory to obtain a hall pass from every building commission or natural preservation commission over the restriction that regards the area needed. Only after one receives all the approvals, the SCIA can be presented and begin the construction
