Arzachena is one of the most important Sardinian cities. It is just 25 km from Olbia away, and is the administrative city of the charming and luxurious Costa Smeralda, with its elegant coastal hamlets and breathtaking beaches. White sand like talcum powder, crystalline sea and shallow waters characterize the dozens of enchanted coves that follow one another along 90 km of coastline.
In addition, the countryside of Arzachena is a wine area among the best ones in Italy, hosting some of the most prestigious wineries in Sardinia. Arzachena is also very important from a historical point of view, as shown by several archaeological sites of world significance. The symbol of the town is a large mushroom-shaped rock: the “monti incappiddhatu”, sculpted by the elements and known since prehistoric times.
