Torre delle Stelle is a coastal fraction of Maracalagonis, located on the sinuous promontory of Sette Fratelli, on the road between Cagliari and Villasimius and about 40 minutes from Elmas airport. The name of this place comes from the two verdant hills that dominate the landscape and make it easy to admire the stars in the evening, and likewise, offer a panoramic view of the beaches during the day. Despite the deep history of this village testified by various necropolises and villages such as Cann'e Sisa, as well as being an important commercial centre in Roman times up to the 7th century, Torre delle Stelle was reborn as a seaside resort in the 60s and developed around the old lighthouse.
An oasis of peace that offers fascinating naturalistic glimpses and is therefore a destination frequented all year round by the inhabitants of the Sardinian capital.
Torre delle Stelle includes many beaches of various sizes and incredible charm.
Cann'e Sisa is one of the main attractions of the place. A beach surrounded by Mediterranean flora that offers shelter from the sun in its cool pine forest on the hottest days. The sea has blue and emerald hues, a shallow dream that meets a beach of very fine and very clear sand.
